Hey everyone and welcome back to my blog.
So if you know me at all, or if you don’t you’re about to learn, you will know that music is a huge part of my life. I talk about it all the time. I spend a very large portion of my day listening to music and I don’t go anywhere without a pair of earphones being in my pocket or my bag. I’m always making new playlists, finding new ones made by others and sharing song links from spotify onto my instagram story almost daily. So I’ve decided to take my love for music onto another platform and make a little blog series where I share with you all things music. So welcome to Magic Music!!! This is my little outlet and online space to talk about one of my biggest passions. From solo artists to bands, albums to singles and everything in between. I’m really excited about it and I hope you all enjoy it.

Hey everyone and welcome back to my blog. So we’re all still stuck at home and we don’t know how long for, it could be a long haul. So I thought I would share with you all some of my favourite productivity and motivation tips that I use a lot to get shit done. More than ever during lockdown, as it can be harder to get stuff done while we’re all stuck at home and having to adapt how we work. I’ve got 7 different ones to share today so hopefully one of them at least might work for you.
Hey everyone and welcome back to my blog.

Which we all know is a subject extremely close to my heart. It’s been amazing, so uplifting and inspiring to see so many people talking about their experiences and sharing their stories. However, as amazing as week likes this are for pushing mental health into the wider sphere and into the mainstream. For me it should be every week and every day. For people with mental illnesses it doesn’t stop happening after a set seven day period. It’s something we have to deal with and live through every single day.
Blog posts are becoming few and far between these days. And when I do sit down to write one they all seem to be life updates nowadays. But this update is a big one. A really big one. I still firmly believe that writing is my form of therapy, trust me the conventional form doesn’t work on me. I’ve tried twice now. And quoting the incredible Matt Haig here as I’ve just started reading his book: ‘words, spoken or written, are what connect us to the world’ and ‘words, just sometimes, can set us free’. I wholeheartedly agree with those quotes. So that’s why I’m choosing to tell you guys the biggest piece of news i’ve ever had to tell in the form of a written blog post. Because I get my words out best and be truly honest by writing them down, not saying them. And writing gives me a sense of detachment to process whats happening and the opportunity to be a bit poetic and metaphorical. I’m not gonna pass up on that am I.
Hey everyone and welcome back to my blog for another post. So recently I went on holiday for 10 days to Antigua. Which was amazing. But one of my fave things to do on holiday, aside from drinking gin all day every day, is to listen to lots of music while I chill by the pool or by the beach. Music is my life and I look forward to knowing that when I go away I can listen to music all day everyday.
Hey everyone and welcome back to my blog. So for todays post I thought I would do a classic new year post and share with you all some of my goals for this new year. I’m choosing to set goals rather than resolutions as I find that resolutions add an element of pressure to stick to them and can often be set just for the sake of it. Whereas a goal is something that can be achieved without a specific time frame and it’s often something you really want to happen and want to achieve. I did this last year and set goals instead and I found that it worked much better and I actually stuck to them and I achieved a lot. But that’s for another time.
Hey everyone and welcome back to my blog for another post. So Halloween is on the horizon so I thought I would share my tips on how to spend the big day in the best way even if you don’t like scary things like horror movies or going out to trick or treat. I personally don’t like going to trick or treat on Halloween night itself and I can't stand horror movies but I still love Halloween. You might think I’m mad and talking nonsense in that sentence but hear me out. So I thought I would share with you all my go to plan of attack on how to do Halloween, the horror free way, if you don’t like scary stuff. Hey everyone and welcome back to my blog for another post. So this is something different and I know that it wont interest or appeal to everyone out there. Buttt I had the idea and I haven’t seen it anywhere else so I thought I would have a shot at it. So as you may or may not know. Due to my chronic illness, IBS, I have had to make some dietary changes and I do now in a way have a dietary requirement. Which is something new to me which I am still getting used to. That requirement is that I have had to dramatically reduce the amount of dairy I have and consume. This has not been easy but I have fortunately adjusted to it and I know that it’s working. But along the way I have learned a few things, hacks I you will, on how to still have my fave things (mainly coffee based things) and not have to miss out just because of dairy. So in this post I am gonna make a list for you of how I have and ask for ALL my drinks. Be them hot, cold, Starbucks or at home. I’ll also add in some recommendation on alternatives that I love and trust. Then if anyone out there wants to reduce dairy for whatever reason, is doing a vegan challenge like Veganuary or has to go dairy free like me due to an illness or allergy you can use this to refer to as and when you need it. Hey everyone. So as you all know my birthday is coming up really soon, THIS WEEK ACTUALLY OMGGG, and this birthday is a special one. I’m turning 20!!!! Can you believe that. Because I can’t. I still feel like a ten year old. I mean I still love high school musical and girls aloud and cheese puffs so I’m not far off to be fair. But as this birthday looms it means the start of a new decade and a new chapter in my life and I’m so bloody excited for it. Everyone says your 20’s are a crazy and wild ride and I’m so excited to start the ride and see what happens in this next decade. But I’m mainly excited to leave my teens behind because honestly it hasn’t been the nicest chapter of my life… school days ARE NOT THE BEST DAYS OF YOUR LIFE. Parents you fucking lied to me. But I’ll come to that another time because I have many feelings about my teen years that I wanna talk about and reflect on. |
